I was to have my 2nd infusion of Enhertu this morning.Unfortunately, my white blood count was too low to proceed. Now I will take shots for 3 consecutive days to boost my white count.I had to reschedule my infusion for next week Doc says at that infusion they will put a device on my arm (Neulasta )Bummed😕but still hopeful this Enhertu kills my cancer cells.

They wanted me to do the same thing when mine (neutropenia) were below 1.00. I researched what would help increase my white cells prior to test and really throughout treatment and eat a lot of cilantro. Just one of many foods to assist. I just do not like getting more injections and or taking more pills. Plus, if need be, I use a topical type of ibuprofen instead of pills if the pain is too much and my natural stuff does not work.

Really wasn't too bad .I had my third today and am having no side effects whatsoever .My neutrophils were the lowest in six years of various treatments so my Oncologist wanted it done quickly .My insurance okayed it but none of my local pharmacies had it in stock so we had to drive up to Moffitt from Bradenton. At least the traffic was not horrendous 😉I use a variety of plant based oils for bodily ailments .I haven't needed my opioids but for rare intense back pain from bone mets.

Looking forward to continuing with Enhertu as I haven't had any truly bad side effects except for major hair loss (I have had only thinning with other treatments except the initial Taxol in 2018.).

That is interesting. Glad you were able to get it. I also took advantage of what they gave me if my natural ailments do not work too. Thank goodness I do not have to worry about insurance companies as I live abroad now and it is all covered. Not in the UK. Do they do tumor markers at moffitt? Have you seen your come down in the last 2 cycles? My father had to drive to moffitt too from Holiday. I have not had really any hair loss. Rest now. Blessings

Yes, Moffitt does tumor markers but my oncologist does not feel they are terribly important. You were so fortunate not to deal with the hair loss. I lost all the hair on my body in 2018 with Taxol..never thought I would have to deal with it twice😩

Hope your Dad is doing well Moffitt is a marvelous hospital !!

I think God strategically placed me only 1hr away from Moffitt ( I was previously in Ohio) before allowing satan to place this horrible disease on me.👍

Oh, in 2016, I did. I just realized that that was the first I had. Dad and is no longer with us. I too never thought I would have to either.
