Have you read more about it? Are they testing it for mbc?

Sounds a little like the treatment for prostate cancer in which they plant radioactive "seeds" in the prostate. But different, because these circulate.

I worked in Nuclear Medicine for over 20 years and YES!!! This is amazing!! It has worked for Alzheimer’s, so why not metastatic cancer? The pharmaceuticals are amazing for targeting exactly where disease is located!! Our bone scans use nuclear medicine and it’s amazing how the drug knows to go ONLY to bone, so it’s entirely possible that they can develop drugs to do the same to annihilate cancer!!! 💗💗💗

Great article. The radioactive isotopes targeting only proteins on the surface of the cancer cell and leaving healthy cells alone, reminds me of the antibody drug conjugates doing the same thing, but with a payload of chemo 4 times higher than traditional systemic chemo. The oncologists call the ADCs smart bombs now it looks like we have another smart bomb in the pipeline. More treatments extending life. 👊
