I don't remember if I got this link from this site or not, but thought I'd post it anyway. Good info on what's coming in treatment. cityofhope.org/breakthrough...

City of Hope article -- the future
Thank you for sharing. Its good to know that these things are on the horizon and if not in time to benefit us, then our children perhaps
Just read this site. Very good and encouraging news. I believe 2020 will see some good treatments for us. Thanks for posting.
Cheers, June S.
Hi Lynn,
Thanks for sharing this article. I truly hope that we will get to benefit from new treatments that are being developed. I'm not happy with the idea of future generations who may benefit, but not us. We deserve that hope too.

I understand how you feel. I always think about the many women (and men) who have gone through treatments that have paved the way for today's treatments. I guess it's a continuing thread. I"m grateful for those who have endured harsh treatments and gone through clinical trials for drugs we have today.
Yes, you're right. Many people before us have suffered. I wish they had not had to go through so much suffering just so others could benefit, but not them.
Over ten years ago, I met a woman with brain mets who lived in Southern California and was advised to go to City of Hope for treatment of those mets. Her sister is a physician and they had access to treatment advise that some of us don't. She did eventually die from the brain mets but shortly after radiation treatment for the brain mets she was back out on the ski slopes and on the more difficult runs. I was left with a very positive impression of City of Hope.
