Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone are taking probiotics to help was bloating and gas? I am on Ibrance 100mg a day and monthly Fulvesterant shots. I want to start taking some but don’t know where to start. I am based in the UK.

hi BritSammy , I am from Middlesbrough in the north east of England , I have 2 probiotics, called Actimal every morning , I find they really help with bloating and I get vitamin D from them , I have been having them for a couple of years , I never feel sick with medication , Ibrance and Letrozole, I never miss a day ,❤️

When I started Ibrance, I developed a bunch of GI problems I never had before: diahrrea, horrible intestinal/back pain from I guess gas, among other problems. Somewhere I read to take a magnesium supplement which helped enormously. I'm in the US, but assume you can find magnesium in the UK. I took like 500mg daily. Be sure to take it with food. It's cheap and certainly worth trying

I checked back and see I took 250mg. There's also magnesium citrate which is more expensive but absorbed more completely without food. Good luck.

I had the same issue when I first started taking iBrance but now after a couple of months I don't seem to be having the same problem. Not sure if it helped settle it down but instead of taking probiotic capsules I bought a jar of organic sauerkraut, and ate a couple of tablespoon a day for a while. This naturally has probiotics in it. Now I just eat some every now and then

Hi, Anything that is fermented will help. I eat a few pickle slices sometimes with my meal. It works great for your " personal plumbing" so to speak!😆
