Ibrance and Letrozole not working

I have just finished my 3rd round. My CA 15-3 went up 8.1 points to 38.1 and my CEA went up 4.2 to 14.9. I just had a CT that they said was fine except for more lung nodules but an X-ray for hip pain showed growth. What do I do now?

Is the growth to hip a new spot? It seems too early to consider changing meds yet. I have had radiation on a few existing spots to keep them in check so I can stay on Ibrance. You want to stay on each treatment as long as you can. An 8 pt jump in tumor antigen isn't that Much. Your onc will look for a trend and also take scans into account.

What does your oncologist say? Are you tolerating the meds well? I am on these meds and I was told that things could get worse before they get better as the meds take time to start working. Best wishes to you.

HEllen. I don't know much about Letrozole I started on it may right before a Lumpectomey and lymphnodes removed in June. But have begun to feel very tired. Wish I had more to tell you. You are in my prayers for healing.
