Has anyone tried Evusheld as prophylaxis for Covid? If so, what was your reaction and has it been effective. I’m currently on Ibrance and Faslodex with chronic neutropenia so would like better immunity to current Covid strain (had 2 & 2 shots).

Evusheld anyone?
I’m following.. I just asked my onc for Evushield he said “I SUPPORT IT” I on the schedule to get it.
I had several months ago. No reaction and no covid, yet. Am very vigilant however. I've had Pfizer's 2 shots plus 2 boosters and evusheld.
I was prescribed Evusheld by my primary doc but I consulted with my MO and she said I don't need to take it. She said the decision was mine but she wouldn't recommend at this time (I'm on Letrozole/Ibrance).
I got it in February and had no reactions at all. Have not had Covid since then to my knowledge (I’m super careful). It gave me peace of mind because since I’m “moderately immunocompromised” from my cancer meds (Ibrance + Faslodex) I was unsure whether my vaccines had worked (got all Pfizer vaccine & booster shots). My understanding is that Evusheld injects the antibodies directly rather than trying to provoke your immune system to make them. For me, feeling a little more protected helped a lot. The protective benefits of Evusheld are supposed to last ~6 months.
Everyone, I have had the Evusheld at recommendation of oncologist. Given the shot at my Portland oncologist’s office after being given reading material about it the month before. Google it for more info that is current.I was on 4 1/2 years on Ibrance 75 and anastrozole; Fatigue overwhelm me every afternoon. Then palliative care doctor recommended I take the meds at night and the last 6 months have been much better.
Now the cancer began going on the move in my iliac and pubic bone. Had liquid biopsy a week ago. Result next Friday and info about next meds but consult at Dana Farber first. I am determined to take a meds holiday until my 80th birthday in mid-September. Feeling my normal self except for ongoing gift from anastrozole: trigger fingers and arthritic wrists.
Fantastically courageous. By 4 1/2 years of stability on Ibrance75 and anastrozole ended with a progression in a spot on my iliac bone which has expanded plus a new spot on my pubic bone. They stopped meds immediately since they were no use any longer. I am determined to stop for 2 more months as I wrote. Life would have improved if I had stopped meds sooner but who knew? Might have progressed sooner.
Have you had recent scans? What is your oncologist’s response to your holiday? I will talk about this Friday when I get liquid biopsy report.
Best always, Joy
My friend's daughter has had it without issues and managed to still not get covid despite being very highly immunocompromised. She actually doesn't have cancer but a severe autoimmune disease and her treatment is officially listed as putting her at high risk of covid. So with all she has going on, permanent migraines and extreme fatigue etc, my guess is it is probably quite safe to take it. Anyone's guess how much it helps 🤷♀️ For her it was piece of mind of a bit more protection as she goes between college in an area where not so many are being cautious, or otherwise at home in NYC
