MBC App on IPhone?
Hi dainla - Just wanted to let you know that I tried it on my iPhone, too, and came up blank. I saw a post here informing the group re: the app, but it was three years old.
My guess is that they did not get enough usage to justify the expense of maintaining the app (which is very expensive!)? Kind of like how the Health Unlocked app went away last year...
I hope that helps...Lynn
Lynn, thanks for the update. I was encouraged to join this forum 3 months ago by my daughter who apparently has been monitoring it for the past year and has read all of the members stories about treatments, their successes and all the new stuff that’s available. She’s been particularly concerned about my low energy and has been sternly protective (and keeping me isolated) during the pandemic due to Verzenio’s effect to suppress the immune system. She and my husband were able to help me sort out and choose the Oncologist just before Covid caused shut down in the medical offices so now only patients are allowed unless the patient needs assistance.
I think I posted 1 other time, and am happy I joined because I see how supportive you all are to each other. Personally, I don’t know anyone else with MBC. Seeing that so many are sharing about their experiences around the world is eye opening.
I only know that my Dr is very happy with the treatment plan and has shared with me some insight into a new Med he’s been monitoring as a ‘just in case we need to change something’. We’ve been on this regimen with much success for almost 2 1/2 years. I consider this time I’ve had with my husband of 50 years and our 4 children and 7 grandchildren as a blessing - pandemic or not!
Feeling bless
Wonderful for you ! Curious to know what medicine your onc is monitoring for use . I haven’t found an MBC app named “my MBC@ either ! Blessings 🤗🙏
Hi dainla!
I'm glad to hear that you're doing well...and I agree re: the fatigue, I find it's just the "new normal", not that that makes it any less frustrating!
It's wonderful that your daughter is so supportive and protective...
Wishing you many more good (but tired? ) years on your treatment!
Lynn
