I will not be a part of this community anymore. I wrote a post last night and spent a long time on making sure I would not offend anyone. When I finished and went to post, a message from an Admin popped up and said I was restricted from posting this or something to that effect. In other words, he/she did not like what I had written. My message was gone…..I could not even read it again. So if I cannot recommend two Bible verses, I don’t belong here.
This has been a great group and I love you all and I hope and pray you all recover, or they find a cure, for this ugly health issue. ❤️
I don’t know why that happened especially when I don’t see that you post a lot. Perhaps an accident ? I would enjoy Bible verses please ! Praying for all of us. 🙏🤗

I am sad to hear that they did this to you ..Many have sent Blessings and more ...l seen alot of people say they are leaving this site ...l believe you can post how one feels ..one lady posted she was afraid of dying..And few people were upset about it ...l do not see why...We all are.
Sorry you have decided to leave. Don't know why they decided block your message but that is not a reason to leave. I have had my message deleted as well but understand the reasoning behind it. It was political. Not a place here for those comments. All the best to you.
Don’t leave.,everyone may have different view points on religion but we have to get over sensoring things because it might offend. We should embrace different religions and view points.,I’m fine with it!

Sorry to hear this. This board is the best I’ve found by far, countless smart courageous people sharing their experiences not only to seek help but to help others so I hate to see people leave. All I see on the forum guidelines on this topic is to: “Please respect the diversity of…spiritual and nonspiritual beliefs of our users.” Sharing bible verses intended for inspiration to others should not violate this principle. No political content is completely understandable. No faith based content for folks dealing with a terminal illness doesn’t seem to make sense and I see nothing in the forum guidelines prohibiting that. Sounds to me like it was an algorithm error since the post was immediately blocked. Admins can’t immediately read and review every post before it’s posted. Maybe ask for a clarification.

I personally am not a follower of organized religions but have no issues if others do. I can scroll on by and not offended at all. with over 5,000 members on this board, we come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, backgrounds, beliefs etcetera. that is the beauty of this board--such diversity amidst our common denominator of MBC--an equal opportunity disease . I have gained much from my many mbc sisters❤️.

I am so sorry that this has happened to you, I can’t understand why-just makes no sense! If “they”allow you, please PM me the Bible verses you wanted to share with all of us, as I would love to read them! My faith is what has gotten me to this point in my journey and will continue on helping me through this journey! I hope you reconsider your decision, but I do understand and respect whatever you decide. May God Bless you and all of us with remission/NED of this horrific disease!🙏
Please, I don't think you should leave the group, but I want to add my two cents in support of the administrators and group rules.
The most important thing in a diverse public forum is to be respectful. This is rule number one. It is respectful to appreciate that there are a lot of different religions in the world. Similarly, it is respectful to not proselytize or be evangelical about your own belief system in a public forum.
My best friend in the world is a super sweet and super devout Christian. We have been best friends for over 45 years, since high school, but her religion is private and personal; she doesn't make her religion public or spew it about. We all know that a ton of Christians (and Jews and Muslims and Hindus and Buddists and Sikhs, etc.) find solace in their religious practices. This is wonderful! Anything that helps people be good and kind and get through life with peace and serenity is wonderful!
I am an non-observant Jewish person and, to me, ANYTHING promoted in relation to Christian faith or intercessionary prayer or bible related seems tone deaf and disrespectful to other people who are not Christian.
I don't even like it when people say they are praying for me; I cringe inwardly. Once in awhile I share, "Did you know that there is actual scientific research that shows that sick people who know they are being prayed for are MORE likely to die than sick people who do not know that they are being prayed for? So, it is actually nicer to pray for someone and NOT tell them."
Only 31 percent of people on planet earth are Christian. This means that 69% probably do not want to hear about Christian religious beliefs or have bible verses offered to them.
I understand that proselytizing and being overt with one's Christian faith is encouraged in some churches, but it is super annoying to be repeatedly asked, "Is Jesus Christ your lord and savior?" I was just asked this question TODAY when I politely asked a homeless person to stop rummaging through our trash can and throwing a mess on the ground. My honest response was, "No. We're Jewish." He didn't know what to make of this disappointing information, but he wandered off mumbling to himself.
I think it is totally great to share tips for positive mental health to fuel practices of gratitude, living in the present, or affirmations, but I am not a fan of seeing specific religious tracts offered in a public forum. It seems presumptuous to assume that non-Christian folks want to be offered bible verses. I think, "How can you not know that not everyone is Christian? How can you not know that proselytizing can feel offensive to others?"
I am sure you are a lovely person and you only meant well! Again, I think you should stay in the group.
I have no religion, but do have faith. And religion and faith is different in everyone and that must be understood!
Meaning for some explanation for them to grasp/understand/actually tolerate must be given because they lack all of the aforementioned or some of it. They don't block or complain or go to war over it, they want explanation and then do understand. Others want no explanation because they simply will never understand and will always be fail to understand grasp/understand/tolerate. And will always argue over and go to war. Some simply want explanation to enlighten/educate/better themselves further.

I don't have this illness, have other illnesses and came across your post purely by chance because your post contained some of the keywords that were involved in my search for something else and just had to reply to you even though it is months later. Which involved me having to join this group to do so. I too have had posts just vanish because they were denied/blocked by certain admin. It is disheartening and actually really upsetting when we have taken careful time to type out our posts before posting and then they just vanish as if we never posted. Unless we have copied or screenshot our vanished posts there is no way we can recall everything typed to even edit slightly to appease certain enforcer admin. It does seem at times the only ones with the problems over certain posts are actually certain admin and their likeminded/same/similar character heath unlocked group members! It is so frustrating and upsetting. I'm certain this post won't be allowed. So l have first copied it incase it gets denied and vanishes into thin air. It is wrong for certain admin to try and play god. Them trying to control what can and can't be posted. No god/religion prevents, but only advises for/against. Allows for own decision making. It is humans whom take things to other extremes when they shouldn't. Usually those humans are called admin/government/police ect. Enforcer characters with personal issues far deeper than our own and they are the owners of their very peculiar closed off enforcer minds. This is why they like particular job titles to control people. Whom in their enforcer warped minds they feel they know what is for the best for others/they are personally above others. We really don't need baby sitting and can make decisions for themselves. Those whom do need baby sitting are often the ones whom complain and whom at some point in their lives have been in/are in enforcer positions themselves. Now I can understand absolutely anyone objecting to a post that is telling someone to go kill themselves or to go kill someone else or encouraging abuse of others or animals, but bible verses rarely do, and are not to be banned because they do offer people a lot of comfort, peace and often reason to not give up and to carry on living. They give people support in their darkest hours/moments. I'm not religious, have my own beliefs and one's I will post if I believe mine will spread only good feeling to people as they may have the same or similar beliefs. I don't go in for religion, and do often eyeroll at it, but I am smart enough to understand that as much as religion causes wars, it also causes peace and uplifting support for far many more. And for those that religion makes them cause wars over, often those individuals were previously/are in the employment/title roles or similar with the same characters or very similar characters mentioned above. Normal thinking open minded accepting of all people will often butt heads/argue and disagree and come to compromise. They don't start wars/cause massive detrimental problems. Perhaps it is those not normal thinking/character types kicking up fusses and problems that some of those enforcer admin types need to be blocking! Of course they won't because they are like minded. I hope you decided to stay and to keep on posting as often as you can/are able and as you please. Certain people unfortunately are incapable of being tolerant of others religions/beliefs. More often it is those with the titles mentioned similar or same along with the characters. Controlling content never works, it always backfires they never learn that. They just keep on deleting/blocking/banning/denying/controlling. Them never understanding how normal minded people think. My post will without doubt be deleted. And if it isn't I'll be chastised by certain admin and their like minded followers, or I'll be accused of something/banned. I really don't care as I know not all admin/people are enforcers with closed messed up minds.
