Hi Elle ( I am assuming that your name is Elle ?) Are they suggesting and other medications to go with the taxol ? I did Paclitaxel ( a taxol ) last year and herceptin & perjeta which I continue to take with exemestane ( hormone blocker )

I did loose my hair but it has come back after I finished the 12 treatments of Paclitaxel.

If this is similar to yours ask away.

I marched right through thrude drug list and was thinking it was IV Chemo or do nothing. So don't lose hope. My daughter came up with the suggestion of trying Verzenio. The doctor had not suggested it because of the cost and I had already had help with Ibrance but low and behold, (don't know where that expression came from) it was approved by the drug company. It has worked very well.Always get a second opinion if in doubt.

Yes, I get Verzenio free from Lilly Foundation. As I did Ibrance from Pfizer. These programs are great (Verzenio had better be working, because it has unpleasant side effects for me).

Can't help myself, as a former linguist, responding to your expression. It is "Lo and behold." "Lo" basically means, "Well, look at that, will you?" Lo - there it is. So look and behold -- look and see. Hope that isn't irritating. Fun for me to think about.

Thanks for the answer and the explanation of Lo. As a linguist I can understand your need to correct. The English language is very difficult at times. Correct away. For me at least.

Cheers, June S.
