I have just developed liver mets ( two mainly - 15 and 25mm each) all bones still sclerotic. I was on leterzol and Ibrance for 3 1/2 years and kept well. Any suggestions what I should make sure we cover in the appointment? Think the move is to fulvestrant. 100% healthy and well apart from this darned cancer! Thank you lovely ladies!

Appointment on Tuesday for new liver mets
I found this, don't know if it help
Because liver metastases spread to the liver from another part of the body, they can be very difficult to treat. But with the right approach, remission and even a cure are possible for some patients.

Liver Metastases Treatment | Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer ...
I went on to Fulvestrant last year after developing liver mets. Had been on Ibrance and Letrozole for about a year before that for bone mets. To me, Fulvestrant was the wonder medication - absolutely no side effects (at least for me) and I felt as if I could go back to running. I hadn't realised how much of a toll Ibrance had taken on me. It had made me tired and breathless but with Fulvestrant I felt like "me" again. Sadly, it didn't work for me and my liver mets progressed, but I've heard of many who do very well on it for a long time. Good luck with your appointment. BTW, do you live in/near Glasgow?
Thank you - I’m very anxious about the change. However my experience has been the wait is more anxious than actually just getting on with it! Yes I’m a Glasgow girl!
I was too until we moved to East Ayrshire ten years ago. First diagnosis was in 2010 when I attended the Beatson. Now at Crosshouse. Will be interested in hearing how you get on.
Hi. I am an Ayrshire girl as well. I had got nearly three years out of Ibrance for my bone mets. Just before Covid I had progression to my liver and was put on Fulvestrant . Unfortunately after seven months it stopped working. I have now been on Capecitabine for sixteen months now and have seen significant shrinkage. I feel fine and up until recently was working full time in a fairly active job. I am now looking for part-time work but that is because we have moved house and are having to rebuild it at the same time as living in it. Let us know how you get on.
Good luck with your new treatment. If you go to Faslodex just know it's very tolerable! I wish you well!
Good luck with your treatment. Knock on wood, Faslodex has been a miracle for me Few side effects. I’ve been on for a year with Ibrance and xgeva. I had sooo many side effects with letrozole
Sorry to hear you have som progression. It's what we all dread. I have liver bone and lung mets been on ribociclib fulverstrant and denosumab for 2 years .latest scan showed everything was stable. Good luck with everything .hope your next treatment works well for you x
