Taxol and Steroids

Hello, I had my Taxol treatment on Wednesday and it is 12:32 am and I have been getting up every two hours, Does anyone have any suggestions. This usually last 2 to 3 days. I only have 3 more in a row. Helena

When I was on Taxol I started getting side effects after about treatment three. On treatment days I could not sleep at all due to steroids.I also has stomach boating, constipation and discomfort.

I took Immovane 3.25 mg (half a 7 mg tab) most nights I slept well with this.

I still take Imovane but only a few times a month now.

My feeling and Onc agreed. You need your sleep during chemo. If you need a sleep aid, so be it.
