Xeloda and shortness of breath

Hi everyone

I have been on Xeloda for Five cycles. I also did a booster 1.5 weeks ago. My hemoglobin was also lower 9.8 this month. I started experiencing shortness of breath while walking. The tumor markers were going down on Xeloda. Thus, I can assume that hopefully Xeloda is working. Did anyone experience a shortness of breath while on Xeloda? It worsened after the booster. I am not sure if this is Xeloda or booster. I heard that Some people have side effects after booster for a long time

Thank you

Best to everyone?

Marina

Hi Sandra, Thank you so much for your reply and very in-depth explanation. My hemoglobin once dropped to 7.8 and the MO ordered a blood transfusion. Then it was normal last month but this month was slightly lower again It looks like you have a different scale. The norm here is 11 , mine was 9.6 this month. I can’t say that I eat well. I do not have good appetite but I will try to follow your suggestion. You once mentioned that you drink one green juice a day. What are you making it from? Thanks again. Stay well

Best,

Marina

Thank you so much Sandra for taking your time to communicate with me. Thanks for all all your suggestions, recommendations and recipes. I will try to improve my food intake. It’s also very difficult for me to think positive. I have anxiety very often. Best,

Marina.

My ex husband just inherited a brand new juicer from one of his clients. He already has one but thought of me. I am excited !!! I am usually a pretty good eater. I stay away from sugars, fatty foods I do eat more greens, carrots and beets. Liver foods. You can also use the pulp from juicing to make soup? Have you done that as well?

Hi Sandra,Thank you so much for all your suggestions, information and such needed encouragement. I will try to add some of the items you suggested into my diet. I try to eat some things out of your list but the problem is that I do not have great appetite. I do eat nuts but nit cashew. For some reason I thought that it is not good for breast cancer. I do eat salads but not every day. If you are using vitamix it means that you are drinking smoothies not juices. Is it right? I have a very powerful juicer and was planning to make juices with cake, spinach, carrots, etc. I also try not to eat very sweet fruit like mango.

Best wishes,

Marina
