Wow,I received a response from my post that hit my heart deep and painfully,it was stated that because I am Stage 1,that this is not a group I belong in,really when did having Breast Cancer of any stage disqualify me from seeking help, information and support with being newly diagnosed with this cancer. Can someone explain to me the rules of qualification for this community. In the mean time I will go where I am welcomed and accepted, this is my last and final post,I do not need this type of energy and rejection in my life right now,I have to focus on healing.Thank you to those who received me in love.

A Facebook g t out you will find information and support is: Beyond the Pink Moon. I am so sorry you have breast cancer. I hope you never get the devastating news that it has returned as stage IV (incurable, devastating and deadly). Be a t wishes for a lasting cure for you 💝
Gotskills - I am unsure if you are referring to my message which - I had hoped — gently and kindly suggested you might find more support for Stage 1 patients on a different board. Stage 4 has no known cure. Stage 1 has much better and more successful treatment options. I’m glad you are not in the Stage 4 mess with us.
I hoped to convey that our treatments at Stage 4 are very different from Stage 1 treatments. I don’t want you getting unnecessarily alarmed by thinking you, at Stage 1, will encounter the same obstacles we face.
In the event my post was the one which caused you any distress, I sincerely apologize.
Please don’t go. Whoever made you feel unwelcome must be very unhappy . Yes this groups focus is stage 4 but I welcome anyone
Who needs our kindness and knowledge.
Hugs
I think whether you are stage 1 or stage 4, cancer is cancer. It sucks! Be healed in Jesus name my friend!!
What a very lovely post, Sandra. I’ve not read the one in question but wholeheartedly agree if I had stage 1, I would be very scared reading all the comments by MBC patients.
It’s so important when dealing with cancer to remain hopeful, positive and it would be hard to do if in early stages, you’re thinking about it returning.
Great suggestions for alternative groups.
We’re so fortunate to have you in our group. Thank you! 🙏🏻❤️
I can’t imagine anyone in this group being dismissive or rude and am sorry you felt this. Having just read the response from girlsptz, I concur with her and hope you find a more appropriate group befitting your diagnosis.
As stated, those of us with MBC are fighting to prolong our lives as there is no cure. You, however, have every chance of a full recovery
and no recurrence.
Though I know you must be scared and apprehensive about your cancer diagnosis, I’m hoping one of the groups suggested will help you navigate your treatment and emotions during this period. Wishing you all the best.
