After a week of hospitals Dentist was really happy with the healing from tooth extraction and Oncologist was ok today about keeping me on Everolimus and Exemestane but he won’t prescribe for next month until I’ve had a heart scan. Been waiting near 3 weeks for an appointment. Oh well, have to be a patient patient.
Here we are in Cumbria and hope to visit some amazing places we know here. This is the view from the cottage we are staying in for the week. We love it.
I asked the Oncologist about my itching. He wanted to prescribe what I already have, antihistamine and Calamine Lotion. Both of which don’t touch it some nights. My Oncologist is sick with Covid and saw a Junior Doctor who was lovely but I’m not sure he quite got it. I’m back in four weeks so I shall mention it again to my Oncologist hoping he is better.
Thank you so much Sandra. We are really looking forward to the mountains and fresh air. Clare recommended walking poles so I’m going to look for some tomorrow. Cumbria is the finest place to get them. I feel relaxed already and hubby is cooking dinner now. It’s my birthday Sunday so I expect we will have a special day. Talk soon xx
Wishing you many happy returns for Sunday Cheryl! Enjoy your walks and amazing Lakes scenery x ⛰🍁🍂
Yay you’ve posted a photo, you must be feeling more like yourself. So glad the dentist was happy. I am sure the Cumbrian air will help the itching. Get as lightweight as possible poles as they are easier to use. A bit more expensive though. You have a wonderful break away from everything, including us and tell us all about it when you get back.Clare x
Of course we all wish you a lovely holiday and send best wishes for your birthday. Always nice to see a picture. Starts us dreaming of places we could visit. All the best to you,
