So my dear ladies an update. Self injecting still and have a sore tummy…..any suggestions Sandra.
No clots in the lungs thank goodness but I now have to go for a CT scan on my arm. The Doctor at the hospital is 99.9% sure that is where the clot is. There is all the signs. It could even be in a Lymph Node. I did have breast Cancer on my right side 2013 with a low grade tumour.
I don’t understand why I couldn’t have a scan yesterday while I was there but hey ho. Weekends the hospital are short of staff and at least I got the CT for my lungs.
The pain in my chest they think is more muscular. My Oncologist feels it is more likely the Everolimus.
So to sum things up, I feel like crap, needle marks everywhere, no conclusion although I know they are on the case and no Everolimus. CT pending hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday and my pin cushion belly taking the jabs.
I am still smiling and singing along. I can’t change anything as I have done everything asked of me the past 2.5 years. Living with the bastard thing but then so are you all to.
Take care and happy Sunday. Tea and cake now. My friend in Singapore sent me some slippers. Bless her, they did make me smile
I'm so sorry you have these issues to deal with now.I had to inject Lovonox twice a day after my subclavian DVT. No fun as I bruised badly and it was painful. Someone told me then to ice the area where you're going to inject a few minutes before and a few minutes after the injection. I did follow that advise and I never bruised or hurt again! I was so thankful for that advice. Maybe it will help you too.
I am now, for life, taking Pradaxa, an oral anticoagulation pill without any problems.
I hope yours turns out to be totally resolved by the time you get a scan🙏

😂 those slippers really made me laugh. Cheryl you are a tonic. Even though you are going through hell, you can make us smile and laugh.I would have said to Ice the area too, and inject slowly (it doesn’t burn so much). Hope you get your scan

Hi Cheryl: So, so, sorry you are going thru this tough time but you have got some reassuring advice and hopefully it will be settled after the scan. Your resilience is wonderful. Keep on trucking and know that we are all thinking about you.And of course keep us posted and know that we are wishing you well. It will all get sorted out with the scan.
