Hello everyone, I’ve been on Ibrance and Faslodex since 11/2019. If anyone is on this mix are you experiencing extreme vaginal dryness?

Each of the hormonal treatments we get for E receptor positive mbc can cause vaginal dryness and atrophy. I think I have had a real advantage in having onc and gynie who are both women! They put me on compounded testosterone cream (RX) that i am to apply to my vagina every day. I don't know what my vagina would be like without it, but I have not had the dryness that alot of us do get. Talk to your onc and gynecologist and ask about compounded testosterone cream. It's too bad more oncs don't routinely prescribe this for their MBC patients with E + cancer cells. Insurance often doesn't cover it and it is not cheap. I'm just thinking that we should be lobbying Congress to make it covered--if men needed it for something similar it probably would be covered.
