Well you’ve all certainly made me feel so much better and offered me loads of helpful advice. I’m so grateful to you all.
I’ve just had a call from the hospital and my chemo has been brought forward to 1pm tomorrow.
I think I just need to try and get into the swing of things and not beat myself up if I can’t do quite as much.
I’m going to get a fortnightly cleaner for a couple of hours to help out a little.
Also, one patch of my garden is now going to be dedicated to wild flowers 🌸👏
I’m also going to try and pace myself a little with my socials with friends. As much as I enjoy going out for lunches etc I need to spread them out more.
I want to keep time for my daily walks with Teddy.🐶
Thanks again - it so felt like you were all reaching out to me and helped so much.
Jo xx

You sound like you have a plan! Good job on hiring a cleaner! My friend in Scotland told me she just hired someone once a month and she’s relieved. I was admiring some California poppies as I was driving home that were sprouting along the side of the road so that’s a great idea to have a wildflower garden. The birds and bees will love you forever!Chris
JoHope it all goes as well as it can at the hospital today. That’s great that you can get in for an earlier appointment then you can have a lazy evening at home. I can not remember the last time I was out in the evening but the last place I’d want to be is the hospital!
Good to see your plans for making life that little bit easier.
I bet there are now lots of us thinking of a wild garden area which will make lots of insects, pollinators, birds and garden critters very happy. Vicki
That’s sounding more like the Jo we know and love x
Go Jo Go!! Take care of and be kind to yourself! You are worth it!
Glad you have a plan and more settled mind now Jo. There’s life outside of treatment. It’s lovely you are going to sow wild flowers. They are so pretty. Enjoy your walks and keep smiling.Best wishes
