Shampoo/conditioner for Brittle hair

Any suggestions for hair care? I have been on Ibrance and Letrozole since 2018. My hair is like straw and so brittle. Any shampoo and conditioner suggestions. I take tons of supplements already and don't want to add another pill. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

I bought Pur d’or (not sure of spelling) shampoo and conditioner when I was taking Ibrance it was pricey but it made my hair smoother. It had essential oils and biotin

Yes, I use a mousse with argan oil. I leave it on for about 10 minutes before I dry my hair. I am also on Ibrance and letrozole and I have very little hair loss!

Also, I use sulfate free shampoo. You can buy it anywhere. I don’t even use conditioner. I also only wash my hair every other day. Hope this helps you

I do treatments of coconut oil once or twice a week before I shampoo. Leave it on for an hour or so. And I use argon or Rose oil On the ends before I go to bed at night

My hair thinned a little, but mostly lost all body. I tried 3 different "thickening" shampoos/conditioners that I found on the EWG website (I'm getting all toxins out of my environment as much as possible!!)

The first one -

AROMATICA B5+Biotin Fortifying Shampoo & Conditioner

was horrible! The conditioner was so thick it wouldn't come out of the bottle and it left my hair greasy.

The second one -

Avalon Organics All Natural Biotin B-Complex Therapy Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner For Hair Loss and Thinning Hair

is pretty good. Smells great and seems to keep my hair looking better than before.

The third one -Griffin Remedy Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner is my favorite. It seems to keep my hair looking good and is not at all greasy or gummy. I also tried their leave-in conditioner, but that was a bit too greasy for me. However, I use it every other day when I French braid my hair, then wash it out that evening. It is a great conditioner used like that!

The first two I bought on Amazon. The Griffin I bought on their own website (cheaper).

I have been on Ibrance and Letrozole for 6 years my hair did not get thin but as time passed my hair continued to change texture brittle and extremely dry and I have to wash my hair everyday because my head sweats while I sleep only my head very strange LOL. I wake up looking like Don King so I have to shampoo and blow dry with alot of work to make it look decent. forget about air drying it would just be a frizzy brittle dry mess and kinky curls I always had great hair body,, bounce, shine. I feel like cancer has taken so much from us and I Cancer has taken so much I was determined i was going to find something Finally i found k18 i had used it for awhile my hair looked great!!!then stopped only because the company was having a hard time filling the orders, due to the pandemic. So I had to go without, my hair held up for a while but as timed passed it went back to the brillo pad. Couldnt wait for the delivery of my K18 its expensive but you only use a little each time. when i finally got it I saturated my hair much more than they recommended my hair needed it and I let it sit on my head for two hours than washed it with sulfate free shampoo and then applied the recommended amount to my hair (dime size amount is recommended) hair is great again!!! I highly recommend it .
