Hi Dear MBC’ers: I’m on IBrance/Faslodex/Xgeva going on 25 months & I’ve noticed a concerning increase in my Kidney & Creatine labs - all now at the top of the normal range. My BUN/Creatine Ratio is well over range. I’m taking 100mg of IBrance.
Questions:
1. Is this common?
2. What solutions do you recommend?
I drink a lot of water - 90oz/day. I’m currently NED.
Should I request a lower dose of IBrance?

Hi Sandra: Thank you for your helpful & medical response! It’s validating to know it’s not the IBrance. I just started working out with weights again as I’ve noticed a decline in my muscle mass. I asked my oncologist about the curcumin I take (mostly for joint pain) he said it shouldn’t effect anything. However, I’m going to get off it and see what my labs are next month. Thank you so much!

Both replies are fascinating. Thank you Sandra. I have been getting constipated lately and now I know how much of the Ibrance waste is excreted I will make sure I sort this out with more greens.Clare
I haven’t had this problem, but as Sandra said it is best to get someone to look at all your meds and supplements as other things can cause the muscle breakdown. I know Statins can do this.Clare
