Has anyone experiencing hair loss from Letrozole/Ibrance tried Rogaine? My doctor suggested it but on the package it says it will not work for medication related hair loss.

Rogaine
Before my cancer treatment (and now), I received cortisone shots to my scalp to stimulate hair growth. I have had hair loss (in patches) since I was a child, and MBC isn't helping the situation. I asked my oncologist if I could get cortisone shots to my scalp, since I am on Letrozole/Ibrance as well. She said it is ok to call my dermatologist and get shots to my scalp. Good luck!
I had hair loss initially, but it got better after a few months. Argon oil for hair may have helped.. (made it look less dry anyway). How long have you been on the meds
Hello Sammie...one of the first things I did after starting IBrance was to purchase Rogaine once my Onc said I could use it. But after doing more research it seems that it may work but you have to use it forever because otherwise your hair will fall out even more rapidly as soon as you discontinue. Sigh...I haven’t used it yet and am watching as my hour gets thinner and thinner. I’m using hair thinning shampoos and am gentle with hair care.
Oh well. I see women out in public with thinning hair and I wonder if they have a similar struggle. Argan oil, gentle treatment and short styles will help. The rogaine is still sitting in the cabinet.
Hi, I took letrozole and ibrance for a year. My hair thinned a bit. Then it stopped thinning
