Capceitibine
I use a variety of things throughout the day, including Nivea and Aquaphor....I find myself putting some kind of lotion on about every two hours! My hands aren’t red, but I am losing a lot of sensation because of the Capceitibine....
I have a hard time picking things up and opening things. Helena
Sorry you are having those problems. Not so nice. Can your doctor reduce the dose perhaps? How are your feet? Wishing you well. Check with your pharmacy.
Cheers, June S.
my feet are a little sore, and i will see my oncologist thursday and ask him about my dosage which now is 1500 mg 2 times a day 2weeks on and 1 week off. Helena
Helena,I drink 64 oz of water daily, I put a variety of lotion on my hands & feet every few hours. You my ask your Oncologist if they would either lower your dose a bit, or go to the 7 day on, 7 day off regimen which seems to help w/Side effects. I also ordered some white cloth gloves to wear overnight when the itching & peeling was bad for a few days. Best of luck!
