Hi. Just wondering if anyone has noticed they became constipated toward the end of the pill cycle. I have such lower back pain. Thanks

New ibrance pills and constipation
I get lower back pain but am not sure if its due to Ibrance. My feet mainly hurt. I don't get constipation on the end of the 3 weeks. Thought might be to amp up on fiber when you're just about ready to get off the 3 weeks. I also take 4000 mg of Vitamin C (Liposomal) which really helps with regular bowel movements nevermind the efffects against cancer ! Blessings
No but since starting adcal D supplements prescribed by oncologist, I do seem to be having a problem. So I've started on the dried apricots! X
Hi there, I definitely don’t get constipation on Ibrance but I find my plant based vegan diet has made my extra regular since implementing it a little over a year ago. My right ankle locks up with stiffness each morning but I think that might be due to Exemestane.
Hope you manage to remedy it. Drinking more water, exercise and fibre all assist in this area.
I wish you well.
I am no longer on Ibrance as it stopped working. When I was on Ibrance, I took colace twice a day to keep me regular. I also have diverticulosis so I definitely wanted to avoid constipation. The medication I'm on now tends to make me go the other way so I quit the colace. Hope everything works out for you.
Hi 🙋♀️ have a great day 🌷🌸 I'm on cycle N.- 26 of Ibrance 125mg / Letrozole. My constipation is extreme. I have tried everything. What has worked for me in the last 8 months is eating foods that promote going to the bathroom: plum yogurt, oatmeal, 12 grapes a day, beans (all types and colors) I have reduced my rice intake to almost 1 time a week, pasta, white bread. I drink 3-4 small bottles of water daily. Every day at night I add to a glass of juice half an envelope of MIRALAX. When my constipation is severe, my hemorrhoids get altered, this added to the dryness of the mucous membranes caused by letrozole, I use creams to lubricate the area. I do this routine and it has worked for me. I hope it helps you. Happy day 😍🙏
I take a cap of miralax everyday and juice and eat lots of veggies. This helps me go everyday. Best wishes Mandy
I've been on Ibrance/letrozole for almost 3 years. Developed GI issues shortly after starting Ibrance: diarrhea, constipation, and debilitating intestinal/back pain (gas?). I've never had GI problems before starting these medications. Some days I'd be horribly constipated and then I'd get the runs 5 minutes later. Back/intestinal paid could pop up any time. I eat a pretty decent diet: fresh veggies, not a lot of carbs, real food not out of a can or box.
I'm not sure howI started, but I take a daily magnesium supplement - 250mg - available pretty much everywhere. For me, it's like a miracle. 90% improvement. I ran out once and thought I'd wait to buy more when I planned my next shopping trip. Within 36 hours the pain started up and, I was at Walmart buying magnesium. It's cheap and certainly worth trying. I swear by it.
Yes most definitely. The doctor gave me some medicine to take. It’s gentle but works. I’m in the UK so it’s probably different in the US to obtain.
Hi Marianne
From the beginning I have had constipation. I have a routine now. First day I missed ....2nd day take senakot if missed third day take senakot and restorlac... That is as far as I can allow now. I had this issue get carried away on me and ended up in the hospital. Hope this helps
Take care
