Hi all We did it . We got married. I have been with Ray for just under 17 years. He has been with me since the being of our journey. He has been my support and strength over the last 10 years. How this started I became ill the beginning of December. I had a low grade fever just 39.8 and a little short of breath. I thought I best go to check in at the hospital to make sure all was well. Eight days later I was released from the hospital. I had two blood clots in my right lung and pneumonia in my left. By the way I do have advance mbc with only one option now is IV chemo. Why I'm sharing this story with you is because I do not want you to go through what I did. At no time did I feel ill, so when my doctor held my hand and said that I may not make it to Christmas I was in shock. Please , please when you have any doubt check with your doctor. We had a fantastic wedding day with the family. We all wore masks until the pictures were taken and enjoyed a small snack with a wedding cake . It was everything that I could have wished for . My son and daughter did it all for us, after I expressed my wishes when I was sick.....not sure why we didn't do this years ago....
Take care Stay safe
Happy New Years 2021

Congratulations, you both look happy and beautiful! I wish you an even longer time together than you already have experienced! No one should be telling us when our time ends. It ends when we quit and you don’t look like you are ready to do that yet!
So true .... My mind is willing my body is getting a little tired. Lol..... It's over 10 years from the onset of mbc ... I just need to pay more attention to signs...
You look radiant . Many congratulations and thanks for sharing this uplifting story... Not only were you around at Xmas but you also manage to find the strength to go ahead with what sounded like a perfect experience full of memories with your loved ones.
