The pain could be nerve damage from the implant surgery. I have nerve damage from the lung biopsy. I have very sharp pain in the general area. It doesn't last long, but hurts like hell. I hope you get answers soon. Blessings, Hannah
Keen to know how you got on, I have allergen implants, been in 13 years. I have had intermittent pain in my upper right quadrant of my body and recently found a lump ... turns out it's silicon... which is also in my lymph nodes. I've had an MRI which has confirmed my implant has ruptured. I'm seeing the consultant on Tuesday to discuss next steps. A side issue but I've been on sertraline for about 15 mths due to getting very stressy with my kids. I had thought this stress was due to covid lockdown & having additional needs kids who are very high energy & struggle to listen, do as requested etc... every minute requires a careful considered negotiation! Anyway I'm sure I've read somewhere that leaking silicon can cause depression... I wouldn't say I've been depressed but definitely on a short fuse so trying to be open minded as to whether my ruptured implants could have led to a bit of a personality change!
Praying your procedure to remove the ruptured implant goes well! I ended up getting physical therapy for the pain I was having from the scar tissue at the implant. I still have the implant. Doctors say it’s a very low chance that I will have probated in the recall. All the best to you 🙏❤️🙏
