Hi there

I would personally not follow a ketogenic diet

There’s no proof that it’s of benefit to anyone including cancer patients...as far as I’ve understood the diet ...it supposedly starves the cancer cells as there’s no glucose available..however the body will convert fats and proteins into glucose

Also this diet can make you feel tired constipated and can cause kidney damage

A healthy diet is a mixture of healthy foods from nature like fresh fruits vegetables and so on

This is my opinion and sorry if I sound bossy!!.. I’m fed up of reading so called special diets for cancer...usually for a fee or buying a book and really ...common sense should tell us what’s good for our bodies

Barb xx

I agree with Barb. I just think we have to eat as healthy as possible.

I don't think there is one diet that specifically helps with cancer.

Hi 🌺 good morning. I agree with Barb too. I change to eat more veggie and less carbs. But no less weight 😘🌺

Hi,

I have breast cancer for the third time, this time metastatic. Each time I feel compelled to try special diets, such as vegan, vegetarian, intermittent fasting or keto. The result each time for me is weight loss which I cannot afford - I am naturally at the lower end of what is considered a healthy weight. I have always eaten a very healthy diet, lots of fruit and veg, a little lean meat and plenty of fish etc etc, occasional treats such as white carbs/cake/glass of wine. A good friend pointed out that my cancer has not been caused by diet and therefore won't be fixed by diet. My onc said 'It's the tablets that will make the difference' and so far he has been proved exactly right. So for me, restrictive diets are permanently out and I will continue to eat well and as healthily as I can while still pushing the boat out occasionally. Good luck with whatever works for you. I will be interested to hear how you get on with keto. Xxx

Good morning sister/warrior I don't know anything about Keto, but I do live by a book called Bloodtype diet By Joseph Christiano. You can purchase the book that corresponds to your blood type. My oncologist said I would not live to see 2009. Well I am NED for 11 years. Is it the book, my loved ones prayers, or is it God who had some one who didn't know I was a Breast cancer Over-comer give me the information on this book, and where to purchase it. Or is it all God who had a hand in all of the aforementioned. God does sometimes work in mysterious ways that we sometimes can't understand. Yesssss I thank God Amen. XoXoXo
