I have asked my onc and she said it is not available on the NHS. I have read recently that it will be available on NHS next year. You could ask your doctor for more info.
The Dr was thinking about putting me on this. I had to get tested because apparently you have to have a certain gene mutation to take it. I didn't have it so they wouldn't put me on it.
Hi ladies, I was on Piqray for two months and couldn’t take it, it was really hard on my body, lost over 30lbs in that short time for reasons It made me nauseous and could hardly eat, made me so week I was falling down when I walked at times, I ended up back in the hospital from this medicine. I am off this now and back on the Ibrance , Fulvestrant shots, and Xgeva shots for my bones, I have finally gained my weight back, can eat again and walk with no problem. I also take Folic Acid which was recommended by a Mayo Clinic Oncologists .
Oh dear that sound horrendous xx love to you
