Always dread seeing onc, but after seeing her today feel more positive, starting new treatment xeloda next weds and she says after first cycle I can have 2 weeks off so I can be well for my holiday, I am hoping it will shrink tumour a little bit then will be happy, fingers x

Thank you, that's what I said to my partner, I am not staying on a drug that makes me miserable, I need to have quality of life for as long as possible, not waste my life been miserable. I heard about this woman she has stage for she has got 6-12 months to live they said she could have an extra 6 months if she had an operation, but would have to have permanent stoma bag and also chemo, she has refused treatment as she said she wants the quality of life so she can go travelling round Britain with her family think that's what I would choose in that situation

I'm hoping for 2mm shrinkage so I'm back to where I was before xx I'm going to butlins bognor regis where my son works

Hi there :-)

I’ve been on Xeloda since January 2019 and it is very manageable. If you encounter bad stomach issues don’t be scared to lower the dosage. I started on something insane like 4000mg a day and it turns out that 2000mg a day is my sweet spot.

Watch for Hand and Foot “Syndrome” dry, red, cracked feet

Treat those babies like babies, Epsom salt foot baths, slather them in oils and lotions daily.
