Is 39 old for a horse?
Good question!
Pardon my ignorance Barb, but is that “horse years” or human years? If the latter, I had no idea! Wonderful
Well if that’s not inspiration I don’t know what is
He looks like a well loved member of your family❤️
😍 Gorgeous!!!!
Vanessa and Monty are both beautiful. Wonderful that you and Vanessa can share your love of riding and horses. Blessings, Hannah
Hi hannah
That’s me in the picture!!
Yes she was sat on a pony when she was three!!.. no choice really as I dragged her around horsey events all her life...both my daughters have always ridden but Miranda lives in London now so only rides out when she visits me

You could have fooled me. Gosh, you look young. You don't let age or cancer mess with your looks. Have a great day!!! Blessings, Hannah
Hi Barb,
I can just tell you have a strong bond with Monty, as well as Bugsy. You are not bonkers to love your horses. I am crazy about my cat, Jack, and can't imagine life without him.

Hi Sophie
You understand the animal bonding...Jack I assume is black??
Barb xx
Hi Barb,
No, Jack is grey. He's a Russian Blue, born and bred in California, but brought home with us when we moved back home in 2012.

Oh I remember now...I think you put a pic of him on here about a year ago...posh boy!!
I just thought he might be called Blackjack for some reason
Did you see in the news that Bob the cat has died...he saved the life of James Bowen who was a druggie and selling Big Issue magazine and busking...I’ve read all those books...Bob looks very much like my Marmaduke...shame

Hi Barb,
That's OK! I don't expect you to remember Jack's breed. We named him Jack in honour of our late cat, Jake. We adopted Jake back in 2004 shortly after my mum's death. I was having a hard time coping, so Kim thought bringing a kitten home would help me with my grief. He was right! We moved to California in 2006, but at the age of just four Jake died unexpectedly. We think he had a heart attack because one minute he was perched on the window sill and the next we heard this loud thud as he fell down onto the floor dead. This happened on our sixth wedding anniversary.
Just twelve days later my friend's cat gave birth to a litter of six. I was told about it and so we went to visit the new mum, dad and their babies. We never intended to adopt another cat so soon after losing Jake, but we fell in love with Jack. So we would visit every week until he was weaned and then we adopted him. We wanted to honour Jake in some way, so we picked the name Jack for our new cat. He joined Samson (a ginger and white tabby who has since died) and now he is our only cat.
I did hear about Bob, but I didn't read the article as I probably would have cried. He was an extraordinary cat. Animals can really touch our hearts!
Enjoy your day, Barb!

Oh you poor thing losing Jake when he was so young...heartbreaking ...but you did the right thing by getting a new kitten...we need our animals and all you can do for them is love and care for them
When past horses of mine have died I’ve said never again but I always did get another....still remember them all and have their photos framed on top of my piano....happy memories of my hunting days and competitions

🐴❤️🐴!!! Beautiful picture of you & the horse. Neither of you look older 😉
Hi Barb
Beautiful pic!
I’m sat watching Royal Ascot at the moment 🐎 hoping for a winner. It was lovely that the Queen’s horse, Tactical won yesterday. Such a shame with no audience though due to COVID-19.

Monty looks like he loves you. We all get attached to our animal pals. They are so accepting of us...no matter how bad or good we feel or look!
