Hi ladies. Hope all is well and everyone is staying sane and safe. Does anyone have back discomfort on ibrance and or ibrance and Faslodex? It’s not like a pain but a pressure, gassy type thing. Seems to happen toward the end of the cycle. I do have lung and pleura Mets of the left side. This happens on the right mostly.

Hi Phillipians4and6-
I do somewhat regularly get a very mild "sensation", not really an ache, but just enough to make me aware, and it feels like I would imagine a slightly swollen organ in that area would feel. A couple of times I've looked up a map of the human body to see if it might be a kidney? liver? stomach? one of those other things (like, what is a gall bladder, really?)...? Whatever it is, it goes away...I have looked at my labs to make sure whatever organ-related measures (liver, etc.) are normal, and they always are... I also haven't pegged this to a place in my Ibrance cycle, i.e. I haven't thought about it...
...Sorry, I wish I could be less vague! Between my memory, lack of attentiveness, and very rudimentary knowledge of human anatomy (!), I'm not much help! Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will respond soon... Lynn

Thank you Lynn. That actually was very helpful. And yes. Like a swollen organ back there is a good way to describe it.
Do let your onc know about this. Ibrance damaged my right lung permanently. I noticed that I was getting short of breath and saw a pulmonologist who diagnosed something called Interstitial Lung Disease, that he explained as being like gunk between the air sacs. I now have two inhalers to use every day and still cannot walk very far til I Have to stop and get my breath. It's been over 3 years since I stopped Ibrance and the symptoms remain. So I tend to be biased about Ibrance!
I get back pain right at the bottom sometimes when walking although as I haven't had pain in my back as I haven't had denusumab since March I'm guessing that drug is the culprit, due to have it again next month
