Dreaming of bald heads!

I dreamed I was bald last night... not a tragic dream but a funny one— my hair had side fringes— like Jason in picture!

Would it be weird if I told you that I love you? 💜 That's such a funny thought and the pic is perfect!! I think that the value of laughing/humor is immeasurable!

I can assure you, when I was bald, I laughed at myself A LOT!! I'm still laughing, wish I had taken more pics. My god, how weird I looked and then, to make it worse, the get ups I'd devise, I looked like a swami or similar, presenting at big meetings, god knows what I was thinking, I can now see people's eyes glazed over, overcome by the alleged fabulousness of my mutli-colored headwraps!!

I've been having weird dreams, too, lately. Mostly about appealing guys, but I won't get into that!

Lynn—Love your description of your outfits!!!! My first time I had plenty of turbans too— my sister gave me a turban with fruit on it as a joke— but I wore it! Now— I am thinning on the top— probably where the dream came from. I think I will shave my head if it comes to it... got to keep laughing!

Just made an OR cap for my daughter-in-law for when she has to wear all the Covid prevention masks and face coverings. It was quite comfortable! I think I’ll make at least one for that inevitable day I loose my hair. It will be much cuter than Jason’s side hair. My nightmare is waking up with Trump hair when it grows back in! Elaine

What a hoot! Losing my hair was one of my first thoughts when the doctor told me that I have cancer and I really had to laugh at myself about that! But on a serious note, one thing I have noticed in the 16 plus years I have been living with mbc is that I see alot more women out and about sporting bald heads openly now than I did when I was first diagnosed. That seems like a very positive trend to me, women being more comfortable with losing hair. And I absolutely agree about keeping our senses of humor! It's sure been important to me.

PJB— yes loosing hair was traumatic my first time in 2006.... now— I think I have a different perspective. 😁
