Head/skull MBC

Good morning! I just found out that my MBC has gone to my head/skull. Is anyone out there under treatment for this? I am currently having whole brain radiation. Any help/prayers are greatly appreciated!

I had a couple of small spots in my skull when I was first diagnosed denovo MBC. I took tamoxifen for about 10 months and then an anastrozole for nine months. The next MRI showed that the spots were gone, I am not sure which Med worked on the brain Mets.

I have multiple Mets to my skull with one new met found three months ago. I had radiation to the base of my skull two years ago. I hope your mouth and throat aren’t being affected by your radiation

I have bone and scalp Mets but it is under control with Ibrance. I hope your doctors can give you relief like some other posters in your situation have experienced. Keep us posted please. I’m sending healing thoughts your way.

I have a met just under my skull. Its reduced on doxetaxol and herceptin /pertruzamab combo. Im now on the latter drugs plus letrozole and hope it continues to reduce.

However i have had a discussion about having targetted radiotherapy (stereotactic) which is an option to reduce it further/increase the chance of it not coming back. Will make decision after next scan results.

I have spots on both sides of my skull as well as ribs, spine, pelvic area, etc but so far Ibrance and letrozole are keeping things stable. Almost three years since MBC diagnosis. I hope your radiation treatment will help you. Sending love, prayers and positive vibes your way!
