"Cardinal Dolan NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Easter Sunday is going to look much different at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan where instead of the traditional Easter masses, Christians will be marking the holy day through in-services at 10 a.m. and an online broadcast.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan will be celebrating the Mass from inside the St Patrick's Cathedral as he did last week on Palm Sunday. He also held a water vigil inside the cathedral Saturday night.

Every Easter, people from all over the world come to St Patrick's Cathedral to worship. There are usually masses throughout the day, and while this year the world is being asked to stay apart physically, the cardinal has a message of hope and healing."

I think it will be nice that now that families are being quarantined inside their homes, that they, along with their children, will be able to watch the mass together. This year it won't be about making baskets or getting all dolled up to visit relatives.

It will give us time to reflect on the holiest day of our Christian faith when the Lord rose again, according to the scriptures.

I need to listen to what Cardinal Dolan tells us. I need to hear some hope here in NY.

Thanks for the invite! It’s nice going to larger churches at times like this...when it’s my pastor on tv I just feel at home! That’s my guy and I know him. Those are my worship team members...it would be so hard to belong to a church that wasn’t on line now...Easter Sunday not seeing your own peeps would be hard!
