No. But I like the efficiency of it!
Update: the radiologist at Sloan in NYC that I spoke with on Wednesday clarified why they do not perform biopsy and ablation simultaneously. Since there is some bleeding that occurs during the biopsy, and it Is being performed using guided imaging, the blood obscures the imaging and ultimately the mass. Guess it makes sense to have a very clear image of the mass being ablated. On that note, my biopsy is tomorrow morning and if necessary, based on pathology, I will have to schedule to ablate this mass to hell! :-). Hugs to all! Wishing everyone a healthy and stable weekend!
