Results Total body scan and CT scan

I have been a bit quiet on this board as have been feeling quite unwell during my last few weeks on Taxol. I had 19 doses of weekly Taxol. OnTuesday I had my scans and had myself completely convinced my tumours were growing. I felt so sick waiting to see my oncologist, He gave me a huge smile and said the weather might be bad but the results are good 😀. He said the tumours on my lungs were dramatically improved, my spine had also improved and was forming something which it is supposed to form when it is healing. Last but not least my liver mets are also shrinking. It was so hard to take it all in. My husband always at my side was so full of joy and when I phoned our daughters they were also crying tears of joy. My oncologist wants me to have two months off before next treatment. He is putting me on Fulvstrant in mean time with the Denosumab. I am getting a port o cath at the beginning of Dec and will be able to swim and use the bath and hot tub. Feeling very blessed. That is amazing. I have had 3 treatments with Taxol being 1 of 4 drugs, with 3 weeks in between and I feel like the Taxol is one of the tougher of those drugs. I can't say how happy I am for you. Once you get cancer and it comes back I feel like you are never ready for that good, positive information!
