Scared get CT test results tomorrow

Go to the Onc. Tomorrow for Falsodex shots & CT Scan Results. Praying for good results. Scananxiety! I have been on Ibrance since July 2018 & Falsodex since May 2018'. So far scans have been stable. TM's 17. Still always have the fear of the unknown.

Prayers & Good thoughts needed.

The anxiety never goes does it?...I feel ok for a short while after a good scan result then start worrying about the next one

Whole things a nightmare!

Hope yours is good...mines due soon and I feel sick just thinking about it...this is our new way of living and it’s crap

Hi Kelly. Prayers and positive thoughts going out to you. We have exactly the same timeline. Diagnosed with MBC in March 2018, Faslodex started May 2018 and Ibrance started July 2018. But my mets is to the lungs, mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes. TMs see sawing between 30s to 50s, now at 44. Hoping for a return to the 20s😄.

Stage 1 - May 2002

And again Stage 1 - Oct. 2008

And again Stage 4 - March 2018

I was dx at 31 & now I am 49.

What is a TM ?

Hi 💗

TM is an abbreviation of tumour markers. It's a regular blood test done to measure activity of cancer in your body.

Not all oncologists take much notice of TM's as they say they can be unreliable indicators. But in a lot of cases they can give good insight into progression or remission.

Mine have been accurate readings for 3 years now.
