A few weeks ago I told you folks that I had two new mets, one on my skull and one on my ankle. I was a basket case until I saw my oncologist. He was not worried in the least and said that my ankle could be arthritis. Even if it’s not he said that some Mets will pop through the bones that had started before treatment. Unless they grow or any of my existing Mets start to grow he isn’t worried. That lifted a big weight off my chest. He kept me on my Ibrance and at the same regular dosage even though it is always a three week wait. I mention Zometa and he did agree that was a good idea so I have had my first Iv. Now it’s back to waiting to see what my blood work will show next week.

Good news! I’m glad you can breathe again! Elaine
Hi
Your dr sounds like mine-calm, reassuring and has been around a while. I am glad for you it’s not a worry issue. Here’s hoping for good test results too♥️🙏🏻
Thank you. You are quite right as my oncologist said once you stop a drug there is no going back and he doesn’t want to use up all the options too soon
Glad it all turned out ok and hope the bloods are too !
And I’m just starting on a bisphosphonate too for bone strengthening which is a good idea for you too . x
