I've almost finished my first round of Ibrance - 21 days on/7 days off. I dont think I've done too bad so far but over the last few days I've developed sores inside my nose. I've got ulcers inside my mouth and sore lips - which I was told to expect - but I just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this and if there's anything I can use to ease the pain/discomfort. Thanks.

HI! My onc prescribed a mouthwash(Maybe it was called miracle mouthwash). I used a natural lip moisturizer and drank more water. Hope you feel better soon!
I have also had the sores in my nose and use a q tip to apply a small amount of polysporin ointment a couple times a day and at bedtime. This cleared them up within a week or so. I hope this helps but I would still mention the nose and mouth sores to your oncologist just to be on the safe side.
I am developing crazy cold sore in my mouth since I start taking Ibrance and stop 2 weeks ago by onc recommendation bc my white cell were very low. I never have so much sores in my mouth!!! 😭
125g x 21 days and 7 days off. I had a few headaches but wasnt sure if that was with the Ibrance or Letrozole. Either way it wasnt too bad for me. Whats your dose and how long you been on it?
When I get run down I get sores inside my nose. I use a small amount of sudocrem (zinc cream for nappy rash) and it really helps. I have no idea if you are supposed to use it in this way, but it works for me.
For mouth ulcers I find rinsing with salt water very soothing.
For cold sores my gp prescribes aciclovir tablets, a high does for active sores and a low maintenance dose to stop them developing.
One other thought, dry skin is a side effect of ibrance and my oncologist recommends 3 litres of water a day. I've been on ibrance for 16 cycles now and I've noticed that if i don't drink enough I get dry skin, lips (which leads to cold sores) and eyes, and sores inside my nose. So keep well hydrated, it might help.
Im sure theres something in that. I started off drinking 4 litres of water a day but admit its dwindled down a bit well a lot really. Probably drinking 2 litres now. I feel lowsy this morning - headache, tired, diarrhoea - together with the mouth ulcers and sore nose this is my worst day so far. I think I only had 1.5 litres yesterday so I defo need to up my game on the hydration front dont I. Thanks. Xx
