I’m seeing a lot of posts that are saying they have new growths. I thought when you are on the Ibrance you wouldn’t be breaking out with anymore growths. I ask my doctor in the beginning if the Ibrance would stop any new growths or cancers and he said yes.

I don’t know how to explain it either. I posted about my last conversation with onc on Friday. There are no clear answers. But I am going to hold to my decision to do mri’s for now to monitor.

My understanding is that Ibrance/ Letrozole greatly improved the odds of a good progression free phase but this is not an exact science and also I understand the median in studies were over 2 year progression free. However it is an average this would mean some managed a lot longer and others a lot less before drug stopped working. Some members have also shared their experience of continuing for years on ibrance despite some additional bone Mets appearing...
