A picture of my green garden. The strange square thing is my archery target. I love my garden but don't get much time to get out in it. I do love the spring when everything wakes up. It's a pity I can't post the sound, the birds are deafening.

My overgrown garden
Looks lush and green. I love your thick lawn. Had to dig mine up and replaced it with rocks and succulents for water conservation. We had a lot of rain last year, but still in a drought mode.

That's the good/bad thing of living on the Welsh border - plenty of rain, though last summer was a struggle but it all came back in the autumn, once it started raining again
Looks lovely and green. Whereabouts are you on the Welsh border? I am in Ludlow, Shropshire, Fay
😊 I'm just down the road, in a village just north of Leominster!
Wow! I hope we say hello in person sometime, all the best, Fay
Definitely 😁 Do you use the haven in Hereford?
wow, it is so wonderful that the two of you are near enough to think about meeting up! There used to be a small group of mbc women who met every month about an hour drive from my house. That was the best group ever!
All my treatment is in Shrewsbury. Do you come to Ludlow? Fay
I'd be interested to hear how you find your treatment in Shrewsbury, I started in treatment in Hereford but moved to Worcester when I had my mets diagnosis.
I used to work in ludlow but I'm now in Shrewsbury, but I can sometimes work in the ludlow office.
Just in case you don't know about the Haven in Hereford, it is a breast cancer charity open to anyone with a breast cancer diagnosis and their families. They offer different types of massage, nutrition advice, exercise classes, counselling, lymph drainage for lymphoedema and support groups. The centre manager is an experienced breast cancer nurse and so are some of the therapists, so they understand the treatment you are having.
Julie
Hi Julie, hope you had a good bank holiday. Rather chilly I thought. My treatment is at Shrewsbury Hospital. The main cancer clinic is known as the Lingen Davies clinic. So far I have received very sympathetic and efficient treatment there. Unfortunately appointments are often not on the same day. I was there twice last week.....CT scan and oncologist. This week it is the clinic to receive palbociclib and denosumab jab. My neutrophils keep dropping so I shall be receiving 100mg ibrance this week, hopefully.....I have been off it for 2 weeks. There is a Hamer centre at the hospital that sounds like your Haven. I don't think it offers as much as Hereford. Do let me know when you might next be in L. We could have a coffee or something stronger. All the best, F
That sounds like a great idea, plenty of places to meet in ludlow
A very cold weekend after Easter!
Sounds like you are getting good treatment at Shrewsbury. If you don't mine me asking, how long do you have to wait for ct scans? - it's an 8 week waiting list at Worcester and 2 weeks for results. I had my January scan in march but had to go to Redditch. At the moment I'm waiting for an urgent brain scan and have been told it will probably be 5 weeks before I get an appointment. Thankfully I'm not too worried about it. Alsom do you see the same oncologist or do you have to see a variety of registrars? Hope you don't mind my questions.

Hi Julie,
Your garden looks lovely. It must be so nice sitting outside when the weather is nice, listening to the birds and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

I love wonderful bird sounds too
Oh Julie just beautiful and soothing. Enjoy!
I love the spring time, too, and all the emerging life! I often walk my dog just before sunrise and the birds are chirping and it is just wonderful and really revives my soul! I don't have the energy I used to for gardening....... sigh! But I am thinking about buying a bunch of annuals to put out and hoping I am up to some weeding. I do have a bunch of compost "brewing." lol.
So green and lush
