It’s only a bit of it..the rockery is massive and we get lots of frogs hiding under the stones as next door neighbor has a pond...Marmaduke is always trying to catch them..bad boy!!

That's a relief! I got upset on Thursday when I heard an animal screaming. I turned around and saw a cat with what looked like a baby squirrel in its mouth. I wasn't close enough to see for sure. I couldn't do anything, as the poor animal may have suffered even more if the cat had let it go and it had died a slow death. I wish I had got to the nature reserve sooner. I may have been able to scare the cat away in time.

My daughter lives in a country village and her cat regularly catches rabbits and wood pigeons...usually squirrels are too quick to be caught
If Marmaduke gets a frog..they scream and cover their eyes with their front feet...horrid to see

I know, Barb! I am just so sensitive to things like that! I remember seeing a cat killing a rabbit one time and that was upsetting too. I just hate to see animals being killed. A pigeon flew into my windscreen once as I was driving home from work and was killed instantly. When I got home I was in floods of tears. My husband was concerned until I told him what had happened!

Early spring...everything is turning green and the birds are starting to hatch their eggs and there’s lots of lambs in the fields..my favourite time of year

Thanks for describing how lovely spring is, as i never experience four season as the place i stay is hot and humid all year round.
You will have to thank your husband for all of us! Just looking at the picture makes me feel peaceful! It also makes me want to do more in my garden!
