This song echos what I was thinking when you were saying you are so depressed. First off you are very new to this...4 months is not a long time but it sounds like you are starting to progress and that is good news. But since you are new to this, depression is very understandable. If you were a happy bouncy mommy before, you will become that again. But you can’t wait for it to happen, you have to be an active part of that happening. I suggest that you pick just 15 minutes a day where you purposefully be that happy mom. Find a song that you like and sing and “dance” in your bed with your kids, whatever works for you. Even if you only fold laundry with them while doing things like putting underwear on your head! You will find it will make you and the kids feel better. And maybe those 15 minutes will turn into 20 and then 30. You will be surprised to find that pretending can turn into real. Sister/warrior/over-comer Thank you for this music that yesssssssss makes me s-m-i-l-e. God gives us joy in so many ways. My girlfriend, and her mom are members of Kirk Franklins church, and they get to hear the choir live on Sundays. If you get a chance read Kirk Franklins life story/testimony. Thank you! i've always loved this song and when I heard it the other day I was in a funk and BOOM, I started smiling and Jesus lifted that oppressive spirit off of me, so I had to share because we have the greatest hope the world has EVER known in Him, amen! So cool about your girlfriend singing in his choir! I will read his life story, thank you, I've never read it!
