That’s lovely ! What a great lift ! Was it for growing a specific item ? I’ve been busy planting spring pansies in my pots and baskets and it was just great to be outside in the sunshine in the last few days ! Hope all goes well tomorrow . I’ve got bloods on Monday ,but not looking forward to going into the hospital at present ! Take care x

Hi, it was for the fruit and veg we have grown and the flowers Ive neutered. I will post some pictures when it’s in full swing. Michael Gove announced today that we can go to our allotments for excersise and grown food. Phew, was I relieved. I have my winter pansy hanging baskets up. They are gorgeous. Wasn’t the sunshine lovely. I will let you know how hospital appointment goes. I’m going in the back way. Only 1 lift to take then. Best wishes

Cheryl

Flowerfairies2! (now I understand your name! :) ) Wow, I am so impressed! How wonderful! Congratulations and thanks for sharing, made me smile! :) p.s. now it's made me frown...I don't think I've ever won anything? No trophies on the bookcase or even in the attic! I need to get crackin' ! :)

That is wonderful! It is almost time to plant gardens in the northwest, at least cool weather plants, but alas, we are quarantined and the nurseries are closed. I put in pansies in my small front bed last fall and they are doing well but I have a lot of empty pots! I wish you well with your garden.

We really wanted to trot around our nursery. Most of our plants are grown from seeds we have put in. At the allotments everyone shares their surplus plants so we have plenty of veg. Thank you for your good wishes.

What a lovely surprise for you.

It’s another beautiful day today so let’s get out there

What is an allotment?

in reply toBecca65

Hi Becca,

An allotment is a plot of land where you grow fruit and vegetables. We can rent a plot from the local council. Some people don't have much of a garden at home. So they rent an allotment.

Spot on Sophie. We also have summer houses on them. Peace and quiet xx
