Hi,I am Dima. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2015 and was under tamoxifen until recently I found out that I have metastatic and got fractures in my ribs and spine.
I have started ibrance with latrezole after taking out my ovaries hoping my cancer would be under control again.
Nice to join you all..

Hello and welcome, I was diagnosed with bc in April 2016 and mbc in march last year. There is loads of useful information on this site and we are all sharing the same experience so there is always someone who will understand what you are going through. Talking to the ladies on this site has made me feel far more positive about everything, hope it's the same for you
Welcome to you Dima. I had level 1 estrogen positive breast cancer 7 years ago and discovered in April that I had 4th stage Matastized breast cancer. It seems that I failed the Aromasin pill, there I got. 2nd opinion at Dana Farber and they suggested Ibrance with Falodex injections ( once a month, one in each hip). I just had a PET scan and showed a decrease in my tumors! The injections seem to be the right combination along with Ibrance. So look into that combination and good luck! God bless you! Kathy!
Welcome to our group I was taking Tamoxifen and my first breast cancer was in 2014 and MBC came on 2017 and I am still taking Ibrance with Falsodex, you will get better and in control of your cancer God bless you
Welcome to the club. I’m also taking Ibrance and letrozole, finishing my 34th cycle this week with scans scheduled for this week also. I’ve had very good results with this combination. I had a rib fracture and 3 compression spine fractures when I was diagnosed. This group is full of support, information and hope.
I was diagnosed with bone mets from the get go, in March 2004 and will celebrate my 15th metservary soon. Having bone mets only and an estrogen + bc is an advantage and alot of us live for years. I hope you will do as well!
Welcome Dima - though sorry to meet you this way. You have come to a wonderful site - loads of encouragement and information - and that ever-useful shoulder to cry on. I was diagnosed in 2013 and had a mastectomy. Stage IV with liver mets in 2014 but am currently just taking letrozole and my markers, though in the high 200s, seem to be stable and I am otherwise asymptomatic. So much is achievable with all the new advances. Good luck!!
Sorry to hear about your mbc but welcome to this group. I just joined recently and have found good advice as well as many comforting words and support amongst these warrior women! Good luck with your treatments, many of us are on the same combination of meds.
