Hi

I had the same problem trying to find travel insurance..however I found ‘Insurance With’..go on their website and have a look

You have to ring them and sometimes they’re a bit slow answering but well worth it

I got a years insurance for about £80 ..they ask loads of questions which can be a bit upsetting

I’m on Ibrance letrazole xgeva and they were fine with that..the company was set up by a lady with breast cancer as she was fed up trying to get cover at a reasonable rate

Hope helps

Hi again

Hope you get sorted..a friend of mine who has leukaemia had been quoted £2000 just to go for a week to Spain!!! She’s going to get a quote from Insurancewith now....I feel we are discriminated unfairly..surely someone with a bad heart is more likely to drop dead than us!!

Thanks for this tip. I was getting some quotes for a week away in Spain and got quite depressed that the cheapest I could find was over £300. I tried this site, the questions were a lot more detailed but the quote was much more affordable!

Hi Barb,

I will have to look into that web site. Thank you! Paying £80 per year is a really good deal. I was reading about a few cancer survivors yesterday who were being quoted upwards of £3000 for travel insurance! That's more than most people would want to pay.

Allianz. I have used them numerous times. When my iPad was stolen they sent me a check within 2 weeks of filing.
