I’ve had MBC with mets to the bones since July ‘16...my Onc resently suggested we may make a change in treatment. I have both Lytic and Blastic tumors. Currently my blastic tumors are showing signs of forming more dense bones. Most tumors make bones thinner but the ones I am blessed with cause density. I am currently on Zometa a bio phosphate and he wants to switch me to Xgeva another biophosphate which by definition helps build bone density also. But my problem is I am too dense. (😂lol! I know your laughing 😂) Has anyone else has blastic bone mets and had meds other than Zometa or Xgeva? I know they work differently but wasn’t sure if there was anything else or if anyone had any advise...
Blessings to all!

Cute picture by the way!! My breast cancer first moved to the bone in 2006 and I started on Faslodex only. I was clear for 11 years. I had no side effects and just had to get them once a month and scans once a year. I know things have changed alot since then. My has now moved to my liver and hormonal therapies haven't worked so am on an oral chemo called Xeloda. Hoping it works. Only starting my second cycle.
