I don't know if anyone watched this Friday September 7, it was pretty interesting. Money was raised for cancer research, all types of cancer. I felt I we have hope, a cure is close by. I pray that every man and woman living with this awful disease is cured completely. If you haven't watched it, it's worth your time. All different types of scientists where presented and people who has overcome stage 4 cancer.

I didn’t see this programme..was it American as I’m in UK

I just feel that for 30 years people have been saying that a cancer cure is round the corner so I’m a bit sceptical..sorry but I feel a bit sad today..want the cure now..not in 10 years when it’s too late for me

Please don't give up hope, it's never to late. The program also showed people from the UK. Not just people bit scientists from all around the world who is wrking on a cure. I'm sorry your having a bad day. I had one Wednesday, but I came to dis site and called share and I felt somewhat better. You have bone mets only correct? If so just keep your head up and continue to fight for a cure and don't forget to pray. God bless!

Anyway I’m at the airport waiting for a flight to Rome..just for 4 days but I’m sure a change of scenery will perk me up

I love vacations. I’m amazed during my April vacation to Hawaii, I had many moments of forgetting MBC.

Ah, what a privilege to be able to leap over to Rome. It’s on my list. Next vacation is Alaska in June.

Rome is amazing..just had dinner in front of the Pantheon..2000 years old!!.. love it here..will try to forget mbc!!

Glad your feeling better. My sons Roman coin collection is unbelievable. He can tell you anything about the Roman Empire, the kings how they lived. He lives and breaths it. I understand where your coming from with right around the corner. When my Mom passed in 1990 at 53 I then thought if she could just hold on. That has been almost 30 years and still major advancement but like when already is a cure. I understand we obviously have to wait but breast cancer is the most funded, they need to move it along. I see that commercial of a cancer cell being eaten by a healthy one all the time. Why can’t they do that with all? Anyway I hope you are enjoying things and have a safe trip home. Clair

Going to the colosseum tomorrow..been before but hubby hasn’t ..will see some gladiators..obv not real ones lol

It was tbs, movie stars where hosting but they are family members are knew people battling with some type of cancer. There was two terminally ill children but now they are cancer free due to cancer research.

Walt that's the channel but I always giggled it stand up to cancer 2018, my understanding they have been doing this for a couple of yrs now.

Greetings: Sister/warrior I also saw the entire Stand up 2 cancer program, and it was very moving. Hearing the stories of real people who are, or have faced the challenge of this disease just like us. A group of celebrities paid for and, ran this 1 hour program on every major television station in New York. A group of celebrities also answered the phone lines and, raised millions of dollars. Lord knows we need a cure right now, no yesterday Amen XoxoXo

It was a great program, it made me feel like there is hope and a cure in the future for mbc all types. God bless!!
