Low white blood counts

I started on iBrance in September on 125 mg. After 3 weeks my WBC was down to 1. My onc took me off and waited a period of time and then put me back on 75mg. I just finished my 2nd round of 3 weeks of 75 mg iBrance. They also adjusted my ZOFRAN for nausea and that is no longer an issue now. Nice to be off the med for now.

Hi sable,

I may be put on Ibrance soon. My Onc doesn’t usually start with the highest dose. He said he would give me 100 mgs first with Letrozole. I have strictly bone mets. I’m on Afinitor and Aromasin at the present time. He checks my tumor markers each month. I had a series of MRIs this week. All show bone mets, some healing. I’ll know more at my appointment.

I wish you well on the Ibrance. They say that the low WBC is the biggest side effect with it. Hopefully you’ do well on the lower dose. Best wishes, Kats2
