First I was on 125 for two weeks my blood pressure dropped really low and of course my neutrophils were very low. Then doctor switched me to 100 mg which I just finished two weeks today and waiting for blood results as we speak. My blood pressure is low again today although I don’t feel terrible as yet.

I am overweight and had high bp before diagnosis. That hasn’t changed. I do have months where I am absolutely dragging. This cycle I feel much better. I am on 125 and have been for almost 3 years. Only had to delay Ibrance once in the very beginning.
Wow u give me hope being on ibrance for 3 years. I’ve read some people have said can only be on it for 22 months. What was your diagnosis and treatment?
No, I just spoke with my oncologist at Lombardi Georgetown this morning. He has had patients on for 3 years, actually right before it became normally prescribed and has no intention of taking his patients off until they have problems with it, new meds, etc. It is new enough on the market that I don't think anyone knows. What they have said from the studies is that it can stop progression, if taken along with Letrozole, for up to 28 months. So, maybe that is where the 22 month thing is coming from.
My BP is normally low at 90/60 but first round of 125, I began taking my BP daily and found it to be more around 84/51. Once off the meds for 3 weeks it went back up to normal, for me. Now it is down a bit again and I am on 100mgs. I will check and see tomorrow, it could have just been for other reasons this morning. But wondering if others have taken their and are aware of any changes.
The 28 months is an average. I asked my doctor where I was on that scale which was pointless cause who knows until it stops working for me. I read about a woman on it 6 years. Had mbc to lungs. Chemo (abraxane) radiation and letrozole added a few months after chemo end d. About 8 mid later looked like 3 of my lung Mets grew one mm. So Ibrance added. I did have modified lumpectomy to have mass removed
Its not about the dryness, it is about the combo of the two drugs--Pfzier realizes. I drink a gallon of water daily and have humidifiers running all the time. I am no longer feeling any dryness in any way. But, interesting all the same. This does not distress me but I am curious.
I have historically low bp and I haven’t noticed any decrease. I even take phentermine to suppress my appetite which is known to increase bp but it hasn’t. I gained 20 pounds in the 2 years since diagnosed. The suppressant has helped
Just wondering if you're still on 100 mg or if you have dropped to 75 since your last post? I have only just finished my second cycle and have also had issues with low blood pressure and low neutrophils. I'll be trying 75 mg on my next cycle . I'm curious because I saw in another post of yours that we are about the same weight and height and I have been wondering if there is a collaboration between smaller size body and needing a lower dose of ibrance.
