Port pinching

I've had my jugular port since March. About 6 weeks ago I felt a sharp quick pinch above the port. I told the dr and nurse about it but they thought maybe it was touching a nerve. The sharp pains have turned into longer lasting, occur more often sharp pains. I'm having a ultrasound on it tomorrow. Has anyone else had this happen?

I have had the same thing. I've had my port for a year. Almost never happens now but once in a while I will feel a quick pinch if I move a certain way.

Yes, I am having the same type of pain for the past 2 weeks over my port. I think mine is nerve pain also.

I had a scan if the port and it's working fine and they assume it's scar tissue sporadically pushing on nerves.
