Hi!

Herceptin/Perjetta is hard on your heart. Wasn't sure in the beginning if I was going to be able to continue as well.

I pray you'll be able to get back on the Herceptin. It'll keep u in remission for years if your heart allows it...🙏🏻

Hi, my name is Caroline. I was diagnosed at age 57 in March 2015 with stage 4 breast cancer, HER2+ with mets to the liver. No history of cancer in myself or family. I began chemo treatment in April 2015 to include Taxotere, Herceptin, and Perjeta. I had an allergic reaction to Taxotere, so Abraxane was substituted. I did fine with that combo. I stopped Abraxane after 6 months and now receive Herceptin and Perjeta every 3 weeks. This has been going well and I feel good! Go to mbcn.org and read stories of stage 4 survivors who have lived for 10+ years. Very encouraging!
